Addressing the Barriers of Access to Mental Health Care
Across the United States, many people face barriers to access the mental health services that they need. Sven Dethlefs, PhD, Executive Vice President, North America Commercial, discusses the current ways in which Teva is doing its part to support access to mental health care.
At Teva, we are committed to helping people living with mental health issues, who face barriers to accessing care and support. In 2022, we partnered with Direct Relief and the National Association of Free and Charitable Clinics (NAFC) to help improve care and access in underserved communities. Our initiative includes providing a portfolio of donated medicines for depression and anxiety across ten states, as well as grant funding to select clinics to advance access to behavioral health services.
